We are On the move

In 2006 Matt and Sheila Mansell established Finish Line Transport Limited. They began with long haul transportation services from Vancouver Island to the Western US and local hauling of construction waste for disposal and delivery of aggregate products. In recent years opportunities arose through a network of South Island businesses to expand into excavation, demolition, underground utilities, road building work and more; work that the Mansell's had previously performed as owners of Mansell Excavating.

After almost 2 decades of experience, the civil side of the business was incorporated as Finish Line Earthworks Ltd. on October 11, 2022. Forming a partnership with Finish Line Transport, the two companies will offer complete site preparation services! Matt and his team will continue to move the company forward, confident in their expertise and knowledge to execute with quality, safety, and professionalism.

Owner

Matt’s experience provides him with the skills and knowledge required for operational success, innovation and effective leadership. During his years in the field, Matt has built a reputation as a resourceful and reliable Long Haul Driver and Site Manager. Matt’s highest priority is the health & safety of both the employees and the public, which means maintaining a diverse, respectful, and healthy workplace for all to thrive. He encourages an integrity-based, team focused approach to work, and strives to provide a place where people can do the work they love!

Eddy Brooks

General Manager

Eddy has been in the transportation and construction industry for decades, as a driver, operator, owner and manager. As our General Manager, he supports Matt in overseeing all aspects of the company, and as a CSO Certified Safety Officer, he ensures we keep our sites safe and our people working.

Corporate Management

With a Master of Business Administration Degree and over 40 years experience in executive management, human resource management and business administration, Betty works with the office team to keep the Financial and Administrative side of the business running smoothly.
